August Is Open: The Class of 2027 Starts Now

The Alaska trip is done. The grizzly bear salmon photo is in the gallery. The summer portrait obligations in Chesapeake, London, Paris, and Rome are complete. Swartz Portraits is fully operational in Spring, Texas, and the Class of 2027 is the entire focus.

The August senior portrait calendar is open. Consultation appointments are available Monday through Friday at 4 PM, 6 PM, and 8 PM. Three slots per day, five days per week, starting August 1st.

How to Book

Schedule your free in-home consultation at swartzportraits.com/scheduler-service/free-in-home-consultation. The consultation is in your home. It takes about an hour. I bring GraphiStudio heirloom products so you can hold them and understand the quality before making any decisions. We talk through your senior's personality, activities, and vision. We look at locations together. We design the session from scratch.

You can also call 832-305-5426 or email tswartz@swartzportraits.com. Every inquiry comes to me personally and receives a response within one business day.

Why August

August is when the Swartz Portraits calendar fills fastest, and the reasons are practical. August portraits are done before fall sports seasons start demanding every available afternoon and Saturday. Before homecoming preparation takes over the family's schedule. Before AP courses and college application season peak. Before the timeline for November or December product delivery becomes tight.

A family who photographs in August, goes through the reveal seven to ten days later, and places their order has finished GraphiStudio products in hand before the holidays. That timeline is meaningful to most families, and securing it requires an August session date.

August light in the Houston metro is also specific. Morning sessions starting at 7:30 or 8:00 AM catch the best golden hour of the day, before the heat builds, with the warmest and most photographically compelling light of the year. Evening sessions starting at 5:30 or 6:00 PM catch the second golden hour as the sun drops and the temperature breaks. For longer sessions, I often plan to use both ends of the day.

One Hundred Sessions Per Year

Swartz Portraits accepts 100 senior portrait sessions per year. One session per day. When those spots are confirmed, the year is closed. The 100-session limit exists because producing work at the highest level with undivided attention is not compatible with unlimited volume. Every family on the calendar receives the full day, the full five hours, the full creative investment.

August typically claims the largest share of those 100 spots because families who book early have the most flexibility in every dimension: date selection, location selection, and timing within the session day.

The Session Day

A five-hour Swartz Portraits session covers significant ground. Two to three distinct locations across the Houston metro, with travel included in the session fee. Unlimited outfit changes. A documentary approach to the photography: observing, reading the moment, capturing what is genuinely there rather than constructing something artificial.

The sessions have an energy that most seniors describe afterward as being different from what they expected. Less posed. More like a real experience with a photographer who is paying complete attention.

After Session Day: The Editing and Reveal

Seven to ten days after the session, I have edited and retouched the final gallery. Editing is calibrated for GraphiStudio production. Retouching is natural and conservative: blemishes, stray hairs, under-eye correction. The goal is your senior looking like the best version of themselves on this specific day, not like a different person.

The reveal appointment is in your home. Your television. All edited images at full scale. Grandparents welcome. After viewing the gallery, we look at products together: albums, wall portraits, digital files, and specialty items. I bring physical GraphiStudio samples. The investment conversation happens with the actual products on the table.

The Schools and Communities We Serve

Swartz Portraits serves seniors from every high school in the Houston metro: Grand Oaks, Oak Ridge, The Woodlands High School, College Park, Conroe, Caney Creek, Klein Oak, Klein Cain, Klein Forest, Klein Collins, Klein, Tomball, Tomball Memorial, Magnolia, Magnolia West, and private schools including The John Cooper School, The Woodlands Christian Academy, Concordia Lutheran, Frassati Catholic, Houston Christian, Second Baptist School, St. John's School, Kinkaid, Strake Jesuit, and St. Agnes Academy. Homeschool seniors are welcome.

The Sibling Bonus Comes With Every Session

Every Class of 2027 family who books a complete senior portrait session receives the Sibling Bonus: every sibling photographed the same afternoon as the senior, at the same locations, at no additional session fee. Group sibling portraits, individual sibling portraits, and family portraits when parents step in. Products from the sibling session are available at the reveal with a twenty percent discount applied.

The Referral Program Is Active

Past Swartz Portraits clients who refer a family that books and completes a session earn the first milestone reward: a 24x24 floating-frame fine art portrait from GraphiStudio. The referral program has no cap on referrals and a lifetime counter that never resets.

Starting Today

Schedule at swartzportraits.com/scheduler-service/free-in-home-consultation. Call 832-305-5426. Email tswartz@swartzportraits.com. August is open, three consultation slots per day, and the Class of 2027 wall portrait above your fireplace is waiting to be made.
