Cypress Woods senior portraits, as individual as the Wildcat wearing them.
A fine art senior guide for Cypress Woods Wildcats. What to wear in crimson red and gold, where to photograph across Cypress, and how two seniors will represent the Class of 2027 as this year's ambassadors.
Represent Cypress Woods
Two Wildcats will represent the Class of 2027.
Each year, no more than two Cypress Woods seniors are chosen to represent their school as Swartz Portraits ambassadors. An ambassador's favorite portraits are featured on this page, seen by every Wildcat family who comes here to plan their own senior's session. If you are the senior your friends already ask to take their photos, this is your spot.

One degree hotter, on and off the field.
Cypress Woods opened in 2006 and built its culture around a single idea: 212 degrees, the one extra degree that turns hot water into steam. That one-degree-of-extra-effort ethos runs through everything, which is part of how a Cy Woods team became the overall champion of the entire UIL state academic meet in 2019.
It is an A-rated school drawing from Fairfield and Coles Crossing, crimson red and gold, with Wildcats who tend to go all in on whatever they choose.
For students who give the extra degree, the portraits should too. Editorial, intentional, and unmistakably yours, made across up to five hours rather than a single rushed session.
What to wear, and where we photograph.
Wearing crimson red and gold
Cypress Woods runs crimson red and gold, a rich pairing that rewards restraint. Let crimson or a cream neutral anchor the look and use gold as the warm accent rather than a second lead. Bring two or three outfits that feel like you, plus one that leans editorial. We plan the full set together at your consultation.
Cap and gown, done properly
Every Cypress Woods senior gets a proper cap-and-gown set, photographed with intention rather than in a line. Bring the gown pressed and the cap flat, and we handle the rest, including the tassel and the small details that make it an heirloom rather than a snapshot.
Where a Cypress Woods session happens
Cypress Woods sits in northwest Cypress near Fairfield and Coles Crossing, minutes from the settings that photograph best: the Boardwalk at Towne Lake, the Bridgeland lake district, Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve, and the sculpted paths of Mercer Botanic Gardens. Up to five hours, unlimited outfit changes, and two or three completely different looks.
Bring your bestie.
Senior year was not something you did alone, so your session does not have to be either. Bring your best friend along and we will make a few images of the two of you, the ones you will both still have framed long after graduation. Just mention it at the consultation so we can plan the time.
