Conroe senior portraits, as individual as the Tiger wearing them.
A fine art senior guide for Conroe High Tigers. What to wear in black and gold, where to photograph around Conroe and Lake Conroe, and how two seniors will represent the Class of 2027 as this year's ambassadors.
Represent Conroe High
Two Tigers will represent the Class of 2027.
Each year, no more than two Conroe High seniors are chosen to represent their school as Swartz Portraits ambassadors. An ambassador's favorite portraits are featured on this page, seen by every Tiger family who comes here to plan their own senior's session. If you are the senior your friends already ask to take their photos, this is your spot.

The original Tiger, black and gold since the beginning.
Conroe High is the oldest name in the district, with a lineage tracing back to the 1880s and a campus that has anchored the city since 1964. Every other Conroe ISD high school descends from this one. Black and gold is the corridor's original school color.
It is also one of the largest high schools in Texas, home to the Academy for Science and Health Professions and a football program that once brought home a state championship. Tiger pride here is inherited, not invented.
There is something fitting about photographing a Conroe Tiger in black and gold, the same palette our own work is built around. Editorial, timeless, and unmistakably yours, made across up to five hours rather than a single rushed session.
What to wear, and where we photograph.
Wearing black and gold
Conroe High runs black and gold, which happens to be the palette this studio is built around, so it photographs beautifully. Black anchors almost any look, gold works as the accent that reads as school pride, and cream neutrals sit easily between them. Bring two or three outfits that feel like you, plus one that leans editorial. We plan the full set together at your consultation.
Cap and gown, done properly
Every Tiger senior gets a proper cap-and-gown set, photographed with intention rather than in a line. Bring the gown pressed and the cap flat, and we handle the rest, including the tassel and the small details that make it an heirloom rather than a snapshot.
Where a Conroe High session happens
A Conroe High session belongs to the city it comes from: the town-center architecture of Grand Central Park, the open water and sunset reflections of Lake Conroe, the brick of downtown Conroe, and the cinematic pines of Sam Houston National Forest nearby. Up to five hours, unlimited outfit changes, and two or three completely different looks.
Bring your bestie.
Senior year was not something you did alone, so your session does not have to be either. Bring your best friend along and we will make a few images of the two of you, the ones you will both still have framed long after graduation. Just mention it at the consultation so we can plan the time.
Swartz Portraits proudly supports Conroe High School and its seniors. We are an independent studio, and we are not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Conroe High School or Conroe ISD. School names, colors, and mascots are referenced only to identify the seniors we serve.
