Klein Oak senior portraits, as individual as the Panther wearing them.
A fine art senior guide for Klein Oak Panthers. What to wear in black and gold, where to photograph near campus, and how two seniors will represent the Class of 2027 as this year's Klein Oak ambassadors.
Represent Klein Oak
Two Panthers will represent the Class of 2027.
Each year, no more than two Klein Oak seniors are chosen to represent their school as Swartz Portraits ambassadors. An ambassador's favorite portraits are featured on this page, seen by every Panther family who comes here to plan their own senior's session. If you are the senior your friends already ask to take their photos, this is your spot.

Black and gold, and the only one of its kind.
Klein Oak opened in 1982 and remains the only school in Klein ISD to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a distinction it has held since 2004, with a 1996 National Blue Ribbon on top of it. Black and gold has meant something here for four decades.
Panthers come from WindRose, Augusta Pines, Gleannloch Farms, and Northampton, families who treat the milestone as it deserves. The fight song still ends the way it always has, with a line about the black and gold.
For a school with that much tradition, the portraits should match it. Editorial, composed, and unmistakably yours, made across up to five hours rather than a single rushed session.
What to wear, and where we photograph.
Wearing black and gold
Klein Oak runs black and gold, a palette that photographs beautifully and happens to sit close to our own. Black anchors almost any look, gold reads as school pride when used as an accent, and cream neutrals sit easily between them. Bring two or three outfits that feel like you, plus one that leans editorial. We plan the full set together at your consultation.
Cap and gown, done properly
Every Klein Oak senior gets a proper cap-and-gown set, photographed with intention rather than in a line. Bring the gown pressed and the cap flat, and we handle the rest, including the tassel and the small details that make it an heirloom rather than a snapshot.
Where a Klein Oak session happens
Klein Oak sits in the Champions and Gleannloch area, close to settings that photograph well: the brick and rail of Old Town Spring, the sculpted paths of Mercer Botanic Gardens, the bridges of Pundt Park, and the lakes and trails of Augusta Pines and Gleannloch Farms. Up to five hours, unlimited outfit changes, and two or three completely different looks.
Bring your bestie.
Senior year was not something you did alone, so your session does not have to be either. Bring your best friend along and we will make a few images of the two of you, the ones you will both still have framed long after graduation. Just mention it at the consultation so we can plan the time.
Swartz Portraits proudly supports Klein Oak High School and its seniors. We are an independent studio, and we are not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Klein Oak High School or Klein ISD. School names, colors, and mascots are referenced only to identify the seniors we serve.
