Two sisters photographed back to back with arms crossed, an editorial luxury family portrait by Master Photographer Ty Swartz in the Houston Metro

The Sibling Bonus

The senior is the anchor.
The family is the story.

Your senior books the session. Their siblings join the same day, with no session fee, at the same one or two locations.

The Family Transition

One year from now, the family looks different.

Senior year is a doorway. On one side is the family you have built over seventeen years. On the other is the family you become once your senior leaves. The Sibling Bonus exists for the parents who recognize that doorway and want to stand inside it, together, while everyone is still home.

This is not a discount on senior portraits. This is a fine art family portrait day, photographed the same afternoon as your senior's session, at the same locations, by the same Master Photographer who has spent forty years finding the version of a family that belongs above a fireplace.

What the Bonus Includes

Every sibling. Same day. No session fee.

Your senior's session is the reason the day exists. The Sibling Bonus invites every sibling, younger or older, to be photographed at the same one or two locations, on the same afternoon, at no additional session fee.

The day produces group portraits of the siblings together, multiple individual portraits of each sibling, and a family portrait when parents step into the frame. For families with more than two children, Ty builds a detailed schedule into the proposal before the first frame is photographed. The senior session is always the anchor, never interrupted, never rushed.

For most families, the consultation reveals a simple plan: the senior is photographed at the chosen locations through the afternoon, and the sibling and family portraits are folded into the same day at the same places. For others, Ty travels with full studio lighting and creates portraits at the family home in addition to outdoor locations.

How It Works

Three steps. One afternoon. A complete family wall.

01

The Senior Session

Your senior is the reason this day exists. The five-hour session, the chosen locations, the wardrobe, the creative direction. Every piece of the day is built around the senior first.

02

The Family Schedule

During the free in-home consultation, Ty presents a proposal that folds the sibling and family portraits into the day in a way that protects the senior session. Nothing happens until you approve.

03

The Same Afternoon

Ty travels with full studio lighting and complete equipment. Sibling group portraits, individual sibling portraits, and the family portrait are photographed at the senior's locations or at home.

Reserve the Day

Document the family while everyone is still home.

Sixty minutes in your living room. Walk through every location. Leave with a written proposal in hand.

Two siblings photographed together in an urban editorial setting, the kind of portrait designed for a 30 by 30 floating frame from the Swartz Portraits Sibling Collection

The Sibling Collection

Matched frames. One coordinated wall.

The signature piece of the Sibling Collection is the 30x30 floating frame, designed for the group portrait of all the siblings together. Each sibling is also offered a 24x36 poster-format floating frame of their individual portrait. The frames are matched in finish and finished by hand, so the family wall reads as a single coordinated display alongside the senior's portrait.

Every image from the day is available a la carte. A nine-up wall collage makes a striking statement above a fireplace or staircase. A twelve-month family calendar is offered for the families who want to gift the year's portraits to grandparents, aunts, and uncles. The Sibling Collection is priced separately from the senior portrait collection, so families can build exactly the wall they envision without compromise to either.

20%

A la carte discount at the reveal session.

When sibling products are added to the order during the reveal session, a twenty percent a la carte discount is applied to every sibling piece selected. The discount applies to the signature floating frames, the wall collages, the family calendar, and every a la carte image from the day.

Sibling Bonus Questions

The details parents ask about most.

Who qualifies as a sibling for the Sibling Bonus?

Any sibling old enough to participate in a portrait session. Younger, older, or both. There is no upper age limit, and there is no requirement that the sibling be a high school senior.

What happens if there are multiple siblings?

Every eligible sibling is photographed the same day at the same locations as the senior. For families with more than two children, a detailed schedule is built into the proposal Ty presents at the consultation. The senior session is the anchor and is never interrupted.

Are the sibling portraits the same products as the senior portraits?

The Sibling Collection is a separate set of fine art products. The signature pieces are a 30x30 floating frame for the group portrait and a 24x36 poster-format floating frame of each sibling individually. The matched frames create a coordinated wall display alongside the senior portrait.

Is there a discount on sibling products?

Yes. When sibling products are selected during the reveal session, a twenty percent a la carte discount is applied to every sibling piece in the order. The discount covers the floating frames, the nine-up wall collage, the family calendar, and every a la carte image from the day.

Can parents be in the family portrait?

Yes. When parents step into the frame with the senior and the siblings, a family portrait is created at one of the chosen locations. The family portrait is included in the same Sibling Collection options as the group sibling portrait.

Where are the sibling and family portraits photographed?

At the same one or two locations as the senior session. For many families, Ty also travels with full studio lighting and creates portraits at the family home in addition to the outdoor locations. The plan is built collaboratively at the free in-home consultation.
